THE 5K MAFIA!!!!!!!!!!!

The 5K Mafia was established at the start of 2006. The mafia consists of Dennis Watson, Ben Tate, Les Kirby, Kita Carpenter and Adam Sharp. The 5K terminology derives from the legendary Laser 5000 sailing boat as can be seen below. Within the mafia, Dennis and Les have enjoyed many years within the boat, Ben owns GBR5288 and the other 2 are honourary members because they are mentally insane. Adam will be wake-boarding behind Ben and Dennis at the Nationals this year at Rock S.C in September.

Welcome to the 5K MAFIA. Our main aim is to promote High Performance sailing within the UK. Don't worry if you don't have a clue about sailing, we usually digress about beer, women, new cars les and Ben would like, tales of the weekend (or week), how crap work or studying is, wake-boarding and music so have a look at our forum. We enjoy a bit of banter and hope you enjoy our site. WORD OF WARNING, IF YOU ANNOY US, YOU'LL FIRST END UP WITH A HORSE'S HEAD IN YOUR BED AND THEN WE'LL SEND KITA ROUND WITH THE BOLT-CUTTERS AND YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT SHE CAN DO WITH THEM, THINK ALL THE LADS IN THE MAFIA ARE STILL HAVING NIGHTMARES!!!!!!!...........Apart from that we are really friendly.........
